Well….. Congratulations to WAHAMA HIGH SCHOOL on being chosen for tha last Fired Up Friday of the Season - I have applied for this for a few years and we finally got chosen - only problem - it’s a day we’re out of school - Veterans Day ! Nov. 10th -
We ARE STILL DOING IT - I thought this would be an awesome way to make memories and show our awesome school spirit and community support LIVE ON WSAZ !!! Yes - you will need to get up early - yes- you will need to have parents bring you (they can also stay and then take you back home) - and Yes- You can go back to bed !!!! Win-Win !! 😂
This is filmed in four segments basically - so, everyone will need to be here by 5:45 a.m. - yawn 🥱 for a meeting with the WSAZ crew to explain how the filming is done - the filming is done in four blocks starting at 6:00 and we should be finished by - little after 7:00 a.m.

Mason County GEAR UP Facilitators Carla Grady, Teresa Murphy, Scarlet Enos, and Jacklyn Kennedy attended the GEAR UP Program Staff Meeting September 14th Program Staff Meeting at the Marshall University Bill Noe Flight School! They received a tour of the facility and got to learn about opportunities in aviation for students, participate in a flight simulation, and have a chance to win one of three aircraft rides! #GEARUPworks

WHS visited New Haven Elementary for a Meet and Greet Friday morning !! We will be doing this to welcome the elementary students to school by some our athletes, music programs, and other clubs and programs we offer at WHS !! We want to make a difference in their day !!
